No Reserve Auction I am selling this extremely clean 1974 VW Thing with no reserve. Please view my past auctions that I have done no reserve on and you will see I honor my sells. It is in Amarillo,Tx and your welcome to come and drive and inspect prior to bidding or have an independent inspector come take a look for you. This is a very nice VW Thing. The body and paint work is very nice on this VW . It is a rust free car and has been in the dry Texas panhandle for years. The front aprons have never been hit or smashed. the belly pan under the battery had some corrosion from the battery in the past as all do but it was repaired during the restoration. The suspension has all been gone through, has new shocks, the engine has rebuilt at the time of the restoration but I did not get any receipts of any of the restoration work when I purchased the vehicle. It runs and drives like just like new. It has upgraded tubular front and rear bumpers, it has running boards added, padded roll cage for safety, Chrome wheels with new wider tires for better ride, looks, and handling, has a nice Kenwood CD player with 4 all weather Alpine 6 " speakers, front bra to protect the paint from chips, very nice wood grates in the floor boards that have automotive clearcoat on them for durability and shine, It has the original side windows and they look brand new and they have the storage bags to protect them in the trunk when not in use. It has the spare wheel and jack, the paint in the engine bay, trunk and interior is very nice as well. This VW has had a lot of money spent on it and it shows. So many of these you see are not very nice up close, this one you will be proud for people to view up close. The old saying about let someone else spend the money, well it does not get any more true than right here. This will make a great lake house / mountain cabin, Hawaii or Central America get away home cool ride to have around. It is just cool to have here in the states to tool around in.
