*NO RESERVE AUCTION* Please look at all the full size photos in the auction description and watch the video. 1971 Chevy Chevelle "Malibu 350". Original California car with clear "pink slip" and original blue license plates. Factory A/C, power steering, and power brakes. This car was built at the Van Nuys, California plant and was originally "Lime Green" with an "Antique white" top. I bought this car about a year ago with plans of restoring it. However, it has just been sitting since I got it and my plans have since changed, so time to sell... It was last registered in 2004. It was a daily driver up until then and I believe that I am the forth owner. It currently runs, drives, stops and has a lot of potential. It has a later model "Crate 350" in it with long-tube headers, 3" Flowmaster exhaust, Weiand aluminum intake manifold, Edelbrock 4-barrel carb, and Mickey Thompson finned aluminum valve covers. It has a recently rebuilt Turbo 350 transmission as well. I have no real history or details on the engine or drivetrain and have only driven the car around my neighborhood a few times. It seems to run pretty good overall and spins the tires with ease... The engine always starts up and the trans shifts good. Keep in mind that this is a "project car" and will need work before it is road worthy (front tires are dry rotted, drag link is worn so car pulls when brakes are applied, etc.) All the of the sheetmetal is original GM except for the aftermarket hood (which is junk). It has been painted once and then primered with spray cans... The car has some rust but overall is not bad. The lower front fenders, drivers side rear quarter panel, front floor boards and two areas on the roof are the only rust spots I could find. The doors, trunk, rocker panels, and rest of the car appears to be rust free. (please look at all the photos for the body damage) The interior is junk... The front bench seat is incorrect (out of a later model Olds Cutlass or something similar) Dash and steering wheel are cracked. Door panels are there but beat up. Passengers side rear panel is missing. Rear seat is a good core and all the original black GM seat belts are there. All the glass is nice and all the window regulators work as they should. Doors are also nice and open / close nicely. Door and trunk locks do not work. Chevy Rally wheels are real GM items (15"x6" fronts and 15"x7" rears) Unfortunately most of the A/C components that go under the hood are missing (compressor, firewall evaporator box, etc) The two-tone rear roof trim is also missing. This car is a great candidate for an original restoration, "SS" tribute, or race car. Drive and have fun with it in the mean time. Please email me with any questions you may have.
