I purchased this 1997 Jaguar sometimes in 1998 at Charleston Jaguar. It was owned by a dentist and he traded for a new one. My wife drives it very little anymore and we have too many cars. My wife is in her seventies and she is very particular. Anything that ever went wrong with the car she had fixed. Most of the cars life has been kept in a garage and was never smoked in. The jag was driven about six thousand miles per year and still drives like a new one. It was painted about two years ago and the top is still in great shape. Has 2 dents on left front fender. I had fallen down and my head hit the car and knocked in. The body shop told me they would repair for 500 dollars. The right side drivers light has a leak and water has got into it. it needs resealing and cleaned. the tires probably have another 15000 miles on them. Under the hood everything is great. Doesnt burn oil and trans replaced about six years ago. The ABS light and anti braking light comes on occasionally when it hasn't been driven for a while. I just drove it and the lights turned of after the drive. Jaguar said it is sensors and would repair for 275. As far as the interior it is in great shape. The drivers seat needs a insert put in from normal wear of getting in and out. You may find a few little thing but it looks great. have all the papers that came with it and new I think it sold for around 90 thousand. Overall this is a great car and with a minamul amout of TLC it will be perfect again. The car was in a accident about 10 years ago and there was front end damage. We had Jaguar to fix at their shop and came out perfect. Well my wife has always loved this car and I am sure it will be sad for her to say goodby to it but to see it get a good home would make her feel better. I hope you look at my ebay history and you will see I beleave in treating people fair. Payment for car would require 1000 sent to paypal and the remainder sent to me with a bank certified check. Car is sold as is and has clear title. Must have atleast 10 ebay positives transactions. Buyer will be responsible for picking up.
