1967 Pontiac GTO This a beautiful restored 1967 GTO. Restoration was completed over a period of about 4 years and was completed in 2008. Car has been in a heated garage since I bought it in 2008 and was kept in a heated garage prior to that and looks like new. Car has only been driven a few hundred miles since I bought it for my collection. Car when restored maintained all the original sheet metal and it was completely rust free. The best of everything was used during the restoration and the Owner payed very close attention to detail while restoring it. It was painted with PPG BC/CC to the original Dark Burgandy color. The interior of the car is in perfect condition with new door panels and carpet. The engine is an original YS code 400 with a muncie close ratio 4 speed transmission. The engine was completely rebuilt from the bottom up including new bearings, pistons, rings, valve train, etc. The engines runs as smooth as glass with no smoke. The transmission and rearend were both completely inspected and reinstalled. The engine compartment, trunk, frame and underbody of the car have all been stripped/cleaned and painted. The exhaust is new aluminized duals. The wheels are Rally II's that were also completely sandblast and restored included red dot lug nuts. The chrome on the car is excellent and most of it was either replaced or rechromed (bumpers). I just installed a new Comp II Plus shifter and shifter kit. Car is tight. The only thing I would point out that requires repair is the needle on the speedometer has fallen off the pin and will require reinstallation.
