Vehicle Detail
From our storage facility - we have a 1962 Chevy Impala Sport Coupe V8 283ci. The car is fairly complete. Please see the pics and contact us with any special questions. The front seats and rear seat backs have been removed. The body is complete and appears to be in relatively good shape for a vehicle this age stored outdoors. Check the photos for closeups of body condition from various angles. The right front wheel appears tilted only because the lugs have been removed. The frame and wheel assembly are complete. The driver's window is broken. Some parts have been removed from the engine, and it appears that the transmission is inside the front compartment. We haven't opened the trunk, but the view of the trunk from inside the car looks good. Take a good look at all the pics and if you have any questions please feel free to contact us prior to bidding. Good luck and happy bidding on this rare beauty in rebuildable condition. We have a clean PA Title in our name. No reserve. On Jun-28-16 at 19:22:31 PDT, seller added the following information: From our storage facility - we have a 1962 Chevy Impala Sport Coupe V8 283ci. The car is fairly complete. Please see the pics and contact us with any special questions. There is a bench seat and bench seat back detached but inside the car. Not sure if it's the front or back seat. The body is complete and appears to be in relatively good shape for a vehicle this age stored outdoors. All four quarter panels are in fairly good shape. The left rear quarter has some bondo just in front of the bumper but otherwise seems solid. The left rear quarter is partially rusted through in front of the wheel low in front of the wheel and very low behind it. The left front quarter is solid except for a 6 inch high by 12 inch long rust bubble just in front of the driver's door. Check the photos for closeups of body condition from various angles. The left rear quarter is partially rusted through in low in front of the wheel and very low behind it. The left front quarter is solid except for a 6 inch high by 12 inch long rust bubble just in front of the driver's door. The left front quarter looks pretty solid overall. Check the photos for closeups of body condition from various angles. I have better photos of all four quarters and the seats in the car stacked on top of one another but can't find a way to upload them now that the posting is live. There is a transmission attached to the engine in addition to the second transmission laying where the driver's seat should be. I've photographed this as well but can't upload that pic either. So there are two tranny's with the car. One attached to the engine and a second laying loose in the driver's area. The front floorboard area is better than 50% solid. Some areas rusted through where the driver's feet would be, and rust-through along the front half of the driver's rocker panel. The passenger side looks better. The rear deck has been removed - cut away - but all the metal in the surrounding area looks solid. The trunk also seems solid from what I could reach through the passenger compartment without removing the stuff stored there. The frame is largely inaccessible to get a good look at, but from what I see up front in the engine compartment it looks good. I'm not guaranteeing anything either, just saying that what I can see looks okay. The area under the dash looks great. Very little if any rust. All in all the car looks pretty solid. If I can find a way to upload the pics or swap out some of the less important ones for those I took today (Tuesday the 28th) I'll do it. If I can find a way to upload them to dropbox and attach a link I'd do that too. I'll try calling eBay tomorrow for options. Hope these written assessments help.On Jun-28-16 at 19:38:58 PDT, seller added the following information: ALSO ... PLEASE BID WITH CONFIDENCE !!!
