Offering for sale a very well restored old truck , the recently deceased owner did a very good job maintaining the truck it drives very nice and everything works including all the guages and radio and has just about every option available check out the rear bumper filler panel and bumper guard/licence plate bracket . It pretty much still looks and drives like they used to in 1951 with a few tasteful upgrades making the truck more reliable such as a 12 volt system with alternator, electronic distributor and radial tires which are practically new. When the rear axle was rebuilt 3:55 gears were installed so it runs down the freeway good. The engine was upgraded to the better 235 cubic inch with hardened valve seats and has about 5000 miles on it the exact mileage is recorded . The body and paint was done in 1995 when it had a full body off restoration and still shines well,has no dents or scratches and is quite the attention getter at the shows although it was never wet sanded and buffed , under the lights you can see some small specks in the paint so not a show quality paint job but upon inspecting the truck i would say it had some good surface preparation since after all these years there is no bubbling or other paint issues . No disappointments with this truck clean and nice under the truck too and included is a very detailed alblum of every cent spent on this and receipts .
