2000 Ford Excursion LIMITED Legendary 7.3 L POWERSTROKE DIESEL ENGINE 4WDSUPER LOW MILES ... ONLY 105,084 !! This is truly an incredible example of a pampered, unmolested, "near-mint" condition Ford Excursion LIMITED that is loaded with every option. Best Color Combo ... Oxford White Exterior with Tan Leather Interior First owner was an older couple and owned the vehicle up until November 2015. Same owner and same driver for more than 15 of the last 16 years! Was never used as a tow vehicle and used very seldom as a trip vehicle for a couple that wanted the space. Interior MINT !!! NO odors, NEVER smoked in, NO pets .... Headliner, Carpets, Seats, Door panels, Dash, Console, are all in near perfect condition with NO stains, tears, or blemishes. The leather is soft, clean, and looks new. (When I purchased it last fall it came with beach towels covering the seats and a dash cover!) This Excursion has been loved and meticulously cared for since day 1. Mechanically and cosmetically in EXCELLENT condition. New custom ordered WeatherTech and Husky Floor Mats from front to back including Cargo area mat. Carpet underneath new floor mats is in new / excellent condition with no signs of wear. Every option works as it should. Both High and Low 4WD engage as it should. Comes with both (2) original remote key fobs, ignition keys, gas cap lock keys (OEM Ford), and original owners manuals / booklets. Dealer installed Ford Roof Rack. I was going to use it to pull my enclosed car trailer to car shows but haven't. A/C blows ICE COLD and Heater Blows Hot Just returned home from 1,500 mile road trip and averaged 19 mpg ! Except for the upgraded floor mats, VentVisors, trailer brake controller, and the 285/75/16 AT tires this rig is just how it came off the assembly line in 2000. The exterior is in beautiful condition and all paint and chrome shines nicely. Spotless CarFax and AutoCheck. No accidents or issues. No leaks, drips, or blow-by. Vehicle was thoroughly inspected by Ford Dealership in Richmond, VA last November and passed with flying colors. Clean and Clear title in hand Fly in and drive this Excursion anywhere. Needs nothing but a new owner. The only reason for the sale is that it's overkill for what I need it for and it sits unused most of the time. I looked long and hard for a super clean, well cared for, one-owner Excursion with the 7.3 L Diesel and found this one in Richmond, Virginia. I flew there from Salt Lake City and drove it home (2,160 miles). It made the trip a breeze (very comfortable) and had no issues. Since having it we took a vacation down to Northern Arizona two weeks ago and it ran and drove fantastic on the 1,500 mile round trip. I purchased it with 98,600 miles early November 2015. Aside from driving it back from Virginia last November and our recent trip to Arizona I've only put another 2,600 miles on it over 7.5 months. By that you can see that it doesn't get much use and sits most of the time. I wouldn't hesitate to drive it any distance or in any kind of weather. I'm motivated to move her along to a new home but I'm not desperate and will NOT entertain low ball offers. I looked for this rig for more than 6 months and I'm very picky when it comes to my vehicles, that is why I was willing to travel cross county to buy this one. When I arrived in Richmond to pick it up I was very pleased and it exceeded my expectations. I'm confident the new owner will be very, very pleased with the overall condition of the Excursion. It looks and drives amazing for a 16 year old vehicle. That being said, because it is 16 years old, it is being sold as is with no warranties expressed or implied. If I were to give it an overall rating I would say it is a strong 9.5 out of 10. 10 of course would be a showroom trailer queen. I've got the reserve set fair, but competitive, compared to other private party sales out there and much lower than what Dealers are asking for the same/similar truck.
