2005 Caddy STS - Crimson Red - POLICE AUCTIONNO RESERVEThis 2005 Cadillac STS was seized and awarded by the courts during a Criminal Investigation. This auction is being conducted by the Jefferson Co Sheriff's Office in Birmingham, Al and the vehicle is being auctioned 'as is' with no warranty implied or given. Please read listing and see photos as we try do describe all known defects. The vehicle does run and drive, and surprisingly well for mileage. We believe odometer is right at 218,786, but exempt on title due to being over 10 years old. We have Alabama Title that indicates vehicle was Rebuilt. We have no idea what dealership rebuilt, but vehicle drives well. Noted Problems: Power Mirrors don't work. Power Windows work intermittently (Possibly bad master switch). Message center says low coolant, but coolant full. Light for brake assist and air bags on, we do not know why? Check engine light and traction control light on, we do not know why. Brakes do work. Runs and drives good, but has slight roaring noise that may be a wheel bearing. Exterior looks better than interior that needs some TLC (Cleaning and repairs). Leather Seats. Power Seats work! Power Door locks work! Tilt and Cruise. Has new battery. Sunny Tires, 255/30ZR22 have about 95% tread left so almost new. 22" Wheels - 1 missing center cap. A/C BLOWS Cold!! Now we have Keyless Remote that allows you to crank car and drive, but we do not have key. You will need to get key made in case remote ever goes out. Engine is a 3.6L V6. Vehicle is available for inspection and/or test drive. Due to age of vehicle and mileage we do recommend that it be shipped or pulled by wrecker if you are travelling over 100 miles as we do not test drive them for long distances.
