Hey guys, for sale is my 2001 BMW 740IL. This car has 148k miles on it, but this classic still runs as smooth as you would imagine. The A/C and heater work great and the engine is strong. Ten months ago, roughly $6000 was spent on under the hood work and a new set of tires. It is worth mentioning that since that major maintenance, the car has seen very little driving. (200-300 miles tops) Within the past week a new battery was also installed. It comes with all of the original manuals and gadgetry (a BMW car specific Motorola phone i.e.) However, the original cable connecting the phone to the car is missing. (not that it would work today anyway :) A couple of notes about the interior: the rear right door is missing the button for the window control (however it still works, the plastic is just visible that's all). Second, the panel next to the seatbelt on the passenger front seat has started to come loose and will need reinforcement work / some sort of adhesive. Other than that, the interior looks excellent. It was vacuumed regularly, the dash wood looks great, and the leather on the seats themselves still look and feel tight and new. It is of course, the buyer's responsibility to arrange picking up the car, as this is a local pick up transaction. Thank you and good luck!
