Older restoration, stored in living room since 2011. 7K miles before rebuild, sourced from CA with black plate. Odometer shows less than 5 miles. Powder coated frame, new 2 stage cloud silver paint & clear coat on body work. Engine rebuilt with new pistons and rings. Doesn't smoke. Lots of new chrome including exhaust, wheels, pedals, side stand, etc. All aluminum polished. No rust in tank. New correct Dunlop K70 tires (manf in 2011, but are still soft and still have the little nubs on the tread). New old stock front fender, speedometer and exhaust heat shield cost $1,500 by themselves. Reproduction seat and rear shocks. Original skid plate. New grips, cables, bearings, too many parts to list. Original side badges with 250 on the bottom. One badge has a crack (see picture). Missing mirrors, turn signals and center stand. Included is an original shop manual in excellent condition. Carbs cleaned, fuel lines replaced, fresh battery & battery tender harness. Excellent running and driving condition. Not a totally correct restoration (too much chrome and polish) or perfect condition bike (side cases have wear and tear from riding back in the day) but a good running, beautiful time capsule. NADA used motorcycle guide puts the value at $4,700 in "very good" condition which is the buy it now price. These are getting very hard to find and you can't restore one for this price!Sold with bill of sale but no title (Ebay doesn't give you a "no title" option). I could get a title but it would take some time and paperwork so I would prefer to sell as is. Contact me if this is a show stopper.
