Up for auction I have a great running 1964 Honda CL72. It's a 250cc twin scrambler. I have a PA title for the bike but not in my name, the bike is titled as a 1968. Overall this bike is in great condition for the year. These bikes are becoming extremely hard to find, especially in this condition. The odometer shows only 1,116 miles on it, but is missing the speedometer cable, so not sure of actual miles. Speedometer looks great though. The bike starts up with a few kicks and sounds great. The bike runs and rides great. It shifts through the gears nice and smooth. The clutch pull is great. Previous owner said he had recently replaced the top end, I did not take anything apart to verify, but the bike sounds great. There are no abnormal noises. The exhaust sounds amazing, especially in the higher Rpms. It runs really well, but With any bike of this age, it could benefit from a tune up. The exhaust looks great, minor rust, mostly up towards the head. At some point the engine was repainted silver, but looks good. It appears to be complete, minus the air box. It does not have the air box or filters. Front and rear brakes work well. The chrome is in really nice condition, both wheels have some very minor rust, some of the spokes are also rusty. Tires are in good shape. The headlight works, but taillight does not. The seat is in great condition, no tears or marks. It appears the frame, swingarm, etc. have been repainted red, but was done very well and looks great. The tank has been repainted silver, it's not show quality but looks pretty good. The paint is bubbled around the gas cap, see picture. Inside of tank is nice. The side panels are not original but are nicely made. Both fenders are in great condition, no dings or dents. This would be a great bike to hop on and ride around or an extremely easy restoration for your collection. If you have any questions feel free to ask.
