Up for sale is my 1988 Dodge Shadow Turbo with 110,200 original miles, supposedly only 1950 turbo Shadows built in '88. I really don't want to sell it but I am a little overwhelmed with projects at the moment, and I want to see this car go to a good home where it will be enjoyed. The car was recently driven on a 200 mile round trip to Summit Racing in Tallmadge, Ohio for their Mopar show and didn't skip a beat. It was getting around 30-32mpg on the PA/OH turnpike. I started collecting turbo Dodges and bought this as a cool car to compliment my '89 Caravan turbo. I Purchased it from the original owner, fully documented/full service history from day 1, has the build sheet, window sticker, dealer sales brochure, two sets of original keys, and original owners manuals. They bought it from Burgunder Dodge in Bridgeville, PA. This Shadow was special ordered by Judy, the original owner, and was leased from the dealership on March 7th, 1988. She loved the car so much, she bought it from the dealership when her 5 year lease was up. (Paperwork is all included showing this, pretty neat to still have it). It has a 2.2 liter 4 cylinder turbo engine that recently was gone through and a new head and head gasket were installed with ARP head bolts. The 3 speed Torqueflite automatic transmission was recently gone through with a 3,000rpm stall converter installed, and all fluids in the car are synthetic. The wheels are the unique 'road wheels' and there is a matching spare in the trunk mounted on an original but used Goodyear Eagle GT+4 tire. One professional repaint in the original color that is perfect. No rust. The car was "Rusty Jones" rustproofed when new, and I still have all the paperwork including the warranty card for it. Recent tune up (plugs, wires, cap, rotor, IAC). Boost builds as it should, and the car has plenty of power. A/C converted to R134a and blows cold. Interior is in great shape, new headliner, no cracks in the dash, and the rear seats fold flat. Full size spare tire on matching wheel. New Eibach suspension, tires are about 80%, new front half shafts, limited slip differential (no torque steer), and currently has a PA classic plate but does qualify for an Antique plate. (can also be changed to a regular plate and used as an everyday car too) Inspected until October 2016. This car needs nothing, except a good home and a driver. You will be hard pressed to find one this clean. Clean PA title in hand. Feel free to message me with any questions you may have.
