Cheap, fun transportation! 2004 New Beetle Convertible, 5-speed manual transmission, GLS model includes leather interior, power windows, alloy wheels, turbo 2.0 liter, 8-valve single overhead cam engine. It even has a fold-down section in the back seat so you can put a pair of skis in the trunk! Runs and drives great. Paint has the usual chips and dings--near the driver's door handle, by the hood emblem, and front bumper (See photos), but otherwise the car is a great daily driver. We would keep it, but it no longer fits the whole family! Rear power windows have been replaced and work great. Power convertible top also works, but the rear window has separated from the top. Could be fixed with a kit like this one, or replaced with a new top like this one. There's a good video here. Or just skip it and drive with the top down.
