1962 Mercedes-Benz 190sl Original front fenders, with spot welds.Original paint.Licence plates from 1962 still on the car!Color code DB50G This car was purchased new in Dallas and has remained in the area ever since.Not much history is known as far as previous owners go, but It is very original and worth or a restoration. This car was found in a Back yard in Fort Worth Texas. Under the same ownership for over 10 years.The previous owner had a passion for these cars, but never found the time to restore it. This 190sl was running about a year ago. the fuel tank was boiled and re installed. The carburetor needed a re-build so work stalled.The engine is original, and it does turn over by hand quite nicely. The interior is complete and original, with the exception of the radio. There are still remains of the original rubber mat the ran along the front carpet. The underside presents decently, it does have some rust in common areas, but being in Texas, it is not too bad.
