It is a black 1959 MGA that I have owned for the last 18 years. There have been very few times I have taken out this car without being stopped or have someone comment on it. The car is registered in California and is in great shape for being 57 years old. Most everything has been reworked over the last two decades. The body is straight and the paint was redone about two years ago. The car has been stripped down to the bare metal and the bad sheet metal was replaced. The wood running boards have also been replaced. It has a beautiful black finish with a red leather interior. You can immediately enjoy the car as you can see in the photos. From the original vintage California license plates with registration tags to the back chrome luggage rack. The car has a black top that is in good shape along with a new matching black Tonneau cover. The car has always been reliable. I have driven the car less than 6000 miles over the last 18 years. The car has a 1600cc engine/transmission/clutch (16GA/U/2704) that were rebuilt about 1600 miles ago. There are some very minor items that are not perfect. The engine bay is not been touched and the front shocks probably need new seals. The paint looks great but there are some very minor chips and scratches. The windshield wiper pump is not set up since I never take it out in the rain. The tachometer are there but are not hooked up. The car has been in Southern California for three decades so rust is not an issue. I have enclosed photos for you to peruse. Please feel free to ask me questions regarding the car. A non-refundable deposit of $1,000 through PayPal will be required within 24 hours of auction end. The rest must be paid by bank wire transfer within seven days of auction end. If either condition is not met, the MGA will be either offered to the next highest bidder, or re-listed at my option. The car, once paid for, may remain on my property for a short time, not to exceed one month, while transportation arrangements are made.
