I bought this car in mid 80"s. It ran and the top worked. I thought I would restore it. It had much rust. I stripped the car and cut all the rust out including the floors (front and rear), rockers, rear quarters, front fenders, and replaced with patch panels. Also repaired was battery box, inner panels, and so forth. The front clip was removed and body work done and temporally put back on. Body was epoxy primed and a thin coat of paint applied. Bumpers, trim, interior, deck, seats, installed to check fit. Car needs stripped and final body work and finish paint. ( CAR IS NOT FINISHED) Has 4 stock wheels, spare is not. Lights are not connected. Stainless has some dings, pot metal has pits. Weatherstriping is bad. Glass rolls up and down and good. Vent glass has bubbles. Stock front and rear seats. Car runs and lot drives. Engine runs poorly. One exhaust valve bad, and one cylinder compression leaking into crankcase. Transmission seems ok. Power steering and air condition work. Clear title. The top dosen't do everything with the knob. If you trip the relays it seems to do everything. Most of the rust under the deck was cut out and replaced. I was hoping my 4 grandsons would help, they helped but are gone now. I feel I will never finish it, so I need to sell it at no reserve. I noticed in the photos it looks like rust holes in the drivers floor. There are NO rust holes.
