On the inside, the "Black" interior is in very good condition, no rips, odors or tears and the dash pad has no cracks, looks super. In the past decade, the BMW 3 Series has been the benchmark against which all other entry-level luxury cars have arguably been designed to compete with or beat. The mechanical condition of this BMW is very good, the engine runs strong, the automatic transmission shifts smooth through every gear with no slippage or hard shifts and the A/C is ice cold. In Insurance Institute for Highway Safety frontal-offset crash testing, the sedan received the highest rating of "Good." In the IIHS side crash test, the sedan received a "Good" rating.
