Very Rare 1948 Chevy Panel 1 Ton 3800 Truck Van with title and rear doors. Was a Missouri Prison Van which is a very cool story and has actual bullet holes in side Has seats for prisoners with cushions and wood floor in good condition for age. Mostly complete minus the drivers seat. 216 Engine needs a lot of love with transmission. I hate to sell but as you can see in the pictures, I have too many projects and can't store them all per the city. Interior is in great shape and would make an outstanding rat rod or restore to original. Seats are unusual and top has NO dents. Let me know if you have any questions and truck has a low reserve. Truck is sold "as is" and payment is full is due within 24 hours of purchase. No refunds as I need it gone to make room for my projects. Great buy and wish I could keep but too busy. Can assist with loading or possible delivery or meet up with cash for miles and uhaul rental. Has some holes in the running boards and rear area above bumper that would be an easy fix. 216 engine does not turn but haven't done anything with it. I do have a 292 that is great running I was going to put in that is not included but I may list on ebay. The wood floor is in good shape outside of usual wear but there is one small piece that I would repair or replace that has a hole. I like the patina and I would keep most of this truck intact and work out the front left fender or you could just replace if you are not a body person. and just put in a rat rod seat, new brake system in and wheels and go. Fun truck, easy to work on, clean title.If you are not going to buy it don't bid on it. I am not taking payment plans, I am not sending or faxing the title, I am not piecing this out. Its a great truck at a great price. It has a clean title and you can pick it up when you get the truck. I have bought and sold many cars on ebay and never had a problem until the last two this was listed
