These were actually authorized by Cadillac and could be purchased through the dealers. For more information check yahoo search for "History of the Cadillac Mirage. The numbers built are estimates and range from under 200 to 240 but the 240 would include other modified versions of the Coupe Deville by Traditional Coach Works, LTD. in Chatsworth, CA and if I am not mistaken the 240 is the number for both 1975 an 76. You can find many pictures of the Mirages on the internet but you will find many are of the same cars. NO RESERVE beyond opening bid. The Vehicle is mostly in original unrestored condition with a low mileage of 51175 miles, the last Car Run it was in was five years ago but it has been driven some each summer since then and started a few times during the off season each year but has not been on any major trips lately. It was started and driven out into the sunlight last week, in the snow but vehicle has never been driven on the roads in winter (no salt). Two short videos of the car were taken when outside so you can see it in better light, see it move forward and in reverse and hear it run. Most of the expensive stuff is all here, dash is not cracked, just needs cleaning and maintenance to get it on the road, and listing at a low opening bid, no reserve beyond that. It has been stored in a machine shed, no winter driving except for a little driving last week in the yard to make a video, no mice in the interior, no chewed or frayed wiring. It has the 500 Cubic Inch Engine with air conditioning. It runs nice and has a good sound, the vehicle originally came from Louisiana and since its residence in ND it has been stored in the winter months. I had a friend look at this vehicle and he is of the opinion that the rust bubbles are repairable and could be done without replacing the panels and to give you a back ground on the friend he is retired and owned his own body shop; his current project is a 55 Chevy 2dr. post car body off update build. The bed of the vehicle is not sprayed, it has a liner that was installed when it was built and it is in good condition. If you look at the vehicles in photos on the internet you will see some with color matched liners as well. This is one of those vehicles that attracts attention; you will likely find business cards under the wiper with a note "call me if you want to sell" and its functional too; capable of hauling 4 X 8 sheets of sheet rock etc. and as the last owner did; use the golf bag storage under the bed to go golfing when he could.
