Up for auction is a one-of-a-kind Suzuki Hayabusa with the Eddie Van Halen paint scheme. Runs great, stops, and handles well. This thing is a beast. Lots of extra parts included with the sale, including brake calipers & pads, brake hoses, fairing pieces, and body bolts. The bike was once stretched and slammed as a drag bike and had a 12" wide 300 series rear tire on it (see last 3 pictures). The old airbag setup, seat frame, swingarm, lowering triple tree, and matching red 300 series wheels are included with the sale, but the old swingarm would be for reference only as it is no longer functional. The turn signal switch does not work and the rear license light needs to be hooked up. The speedometer seems to run slower than actual speed but I don't know by how much. Only one caliper is on the front and it stops with no issues, but another caliper & hose is included if the new owner would like to attach it. The paint has chips where the dealership laid it over on the stand when it had the airbag setup and the air slowly discharged overnight. The bike no longer has the airbag setup, it now has the conventional shock & spring setup so that won't happen again. New black inner fairing pieces around the tank were installed and the original Van Halen-painted pieces that got chipped will go with the sale, see pics for reference. The bike was recently converted back to mostly stock with a mild stretch at the swingarm. A new high quality chain, sprockets, 8" stretch kit, rear brake pads, gel battery, front wheel fender, rear brake light/ inner fender, and stock front & rear tires were put on. The paint job is an awesome "5-footer" and grabs attention wherever it goes. Even people who don't know who Eddie Van Halen is really dig the paint scheme. In true EVH style, there are imperfections throughout the paint. If you look close, more prep & fill could have been done to make it perfect, and there are paint chips here and there. It is not a show bike, it's more of a rock & roll street fighter. Blue Texas title. Bike is sold as-is, where is. $500 deposit via PayPal and the balance to be paid within 7 days of auction close.
