Prior to that, for 40 years we sold almost every car through print media. The question we are always asked "How do you find all of these incredible cars?" The answer is simple. We have been collecting the best of the best since 1960! During these past 56 yearswe have met 1000's and 1000's of wonderful guys & girls who love this hobby as much as we do. Unfortunatelymany have and do pass away and when they do the families call us. The cars most often find us for the 2nd time....we don't "find" the cars. We fly in to inspect the car, most of the times it's a collection which can be 5 or 6 cars....or more. Many times it's a lot more, 25, 50 or as high as 100+ cars. When we purchase & ship the cars back to Florida we inspect and drive every car. If it needs anything, we haveit correctly & expertly repaired. We don't take shortcuts. If an Air-conditioning system is not working, we don'tjust add Freon....we go through the entire system and fix it right. We're not perfect and once in a greatwhile we might overlook something...if we do...call us and we will do everything we can to make it right. Additionally, we're not greedy. A small markup is added to each car, we keep the overhead to a minimumand always "leave room" for the new buyer to sell his or her car should they make that decision. We never try to just "Make a sale" because a sale is usually a one time event. Instead, we do our best to "Make a customer" because a customer is forever and that's a VERY good thing in business. Click Here to watch the video#1 Click Here to watch the video#2 If your wondering where the gas gauges is....release the fuel filler door andremove the long metal flat rod...it is marked with "Full...3/4...1/2...1/4. It holds 12 gallonsand should average 25-30mpg so simply write down the mileage and inspect the fuel rod every couple of 100 miles. The previous long time owner was the President of the MG Club. It was restoredto a very high level and to exacting standards...the quality shows notonly in it's appearance, but when you drive this fabulous sportscar from the late, great 1950's. The MG TF was only produced for two years 1953-1954 as a stopgap between the MG TD and the MGA. In order to stimulate sales in the US, a 1500cc power plant was introduced in 1954. Only 3,000 such cars were produced with 90% going to the US.The MG TF is often considered the most desirable by collectors of the T-Series. This example is powered by it's four-cylinder engine that displaces 1500cc (1466cc to be precise) and capable of producing nearly 65 horsepower. It has a four-speed manual gearbox and four-wheel hydraulic drum brakes.When the MG TF was first introduced, it was powered by a XPAG 1250cc enginebut the demands for more power by the consumers brought about the additional 250 cubic-centimeters. The consumers got what they wanted and the resulting vehicle was dubbed the MG TF 1500. This 1955 MG TF 1500 Roadster has been treated to a frame-off restoration. The car contains some desirable features such as side curtains, a Tan top, Tan Tonneau,and a rear mounted wire wheel spare tire. The spectacular wirewheels and wind wings are also seldom seen features. The wire wheels were completely disassembled and each individual spoke chromed to look like surgical steel instruments.This car has 5 wire wheels that are absolutely done to Pebble Beach Standards as is the entire car. To duplicate a restoration today to the concours level of this car will cost $100,000+ and take 2-3 years. (That is if you can locate the parts) I could ramble on for hours about this particular car. I have driven it at 65-70mph onthe Florida Turnpike and it is a ball to drive. I asked my son to take it for a drive today (he's 33)and at first he said no thanks Dad. After a few minutes he changed his mind and came backwith a huge smile on his face and said...."Dad, this is one very cool car" If your 25 or 30----50 or 60 or even in your 80's...whoever is the lucky winning bidderwill absolutely love the way this car looks and drives.
