This cougar XR-7 is a very rare, original (See vin ) 390 2v X code, big block car. It has been sitting in a gentleman's garage for 27 years. He got it as a honeymoon present, it overheated and he started to disassemble the existing 289 in the car. The 390 big block is not in the car. The heads and many other parts are missing off of the 289. The car is complete and straight Original keys and original spare set. No putty any where, interior has one tear on drivers side seat bolster. This is an X code vehicle , 390 with two barrel carburetor. The rear quarter panel's are solid on the exterior but rusted on the inside in the trunk area. The only thing missing is the radio and the original engine. On Apr-29-16 at 11:34:51 PDT, seller added the following information: Added more pictures of the rust. it looks like the passenger side front and rear has more rush than the driver side. I have pictures of the rear quarters and the two pictures of the front wheel wells. They are rusted but do not rusted all the way back towards the floorboards, just under the rear wheel wells. One flat patch panel I also found the rear cougar emblems and reflector lights and installed the original steering wheel
