Up for sale is an amazing 1961 Cadillac Coupe Deville Model 61L 4-door, 6-window hardtop sedan with 111k original miles. This beautiful classic is a turnkey runner and driver you can hop in and enjoy. An amazing survivor, fully loaded with options, including power steering, power windows, power seat, air conditioning, autronic eye, and more. Just loaded. Details as follows: Body, Glass, Chrome, & Trim: Very straight original body panels wearing one older repaint in an off-white very close to the factory original color. While there are minor chips, nicks, and dings present, they are indeed very minor, and the paint still shines very well, as you can see. The car presents beautifully from 10’ away. The chrome and trim is in very nice condition in all respects. Again, not perfect, but unless you are showing the car it is as nice as you might ever find. It is a very good-looking vehicle. All the glass is in excellent condition. The grill is fantastic, and all the small details and trim pieces are present throughout the body. The wheels are original, and feature the stylish original finned hubcaps and very sound whitewall radial tires. Panel and door fitment are very nice. The power windows all roll up and down smoothly. The mirrors are manually-controlled remote units, and in great condition. Interior: The interior is simply amazing. Gorgeous chrome, stainless, and painted surfaces abound. The two-tone black and white upholstery is outstanding, as is the headliner, door panels, carpet, etc. Just great condition. Virtually every single thing works on this car... gauges, switches, motors, radio, etc. Even the clock works. The original owner’s manual is in the glovebox, proclaiming the car’s first home in sunny Florida. Drivetrain: The engine is the original 325HP 390 V8 in excellent turnkey running condition. With only 111,000 miles and proper maintenance, the car is good for at least that many more. The factory automatic transmission has been serviced, and shifts just like it should. The car drives very nicely, tracks straight down the road, and steers well. It brakes well and straight; she turns a lot of heads, and is a blast to drive. While not a flawless and perfect vehicle, I’d say that this Cadillac would rate a strong 7 of 10. With a repaint, she could approach a “9.” The only rust to be found is minor bubbling under the passenger side rear door. Floors, frame trunk, etc. are just great.This is a gorgeous original classic that is going to make her new owner very happy!
