You are bidding on a beautiful and meticulously maintained 1989 Mercedes Benz 560SEL with 55K original miles. If you have ever owned or driven one of these magnificent cars then you know how special they are. The solidity, build quality, and engineering are without compromise. This particular car was purchased new and I have the title showing 200 miles when it was purchased. It remained garaged in the same residence in Silver Spring, Md for 27 years. It only comes out of the garage on the occasional perfect weekend day. It truly is a magnificent example of the W126 560SEL. The exterior finish on the car is beautiful and show-quality. The chrome on the entire car is equally as gorgeous with a mirror finish and no flaws, with no rust at all. The anodized aluminum trim around all of the windows is also bright and clear with no significant hazing or fading. All of the original glass is perfect with no chips or scratches of any kind. The wheels are in excellent condition and the car is sitting on nearly new matching Michelin tires on all four corners. The interior of the car is truly flawless and like new. No wear on any items such as the steering wheel, shift lever, pedals, etc. The leather is perfect. The driver's side seat bolster as well as the center armrest where most wear usually occurs are both flawless. The carpet is equally as perfect again with no wear marks, scuffs, or stains of any kind. The wood on the dash, console, and doors is again perfect and not a single crack. (Very rare to find. Perfect representation that the car has always been kept out of the sun and lived in a mild environment without extreme temperature changes.) Also, the markings on the instrument cluster and needles are all bright orange with no fading whatsoever. No sun fading at all on any of the interior dash, doors, rear parcel shelf, etc. All power options work as they should, even the clock, and the A/C blows ice cold. Car needs nothing mechanically or cosmetically. Car comes with all original books, brochures, first aid kit, Mercedes Benz mats, and keys. I've included many photos to help represent the condition of the vehicle.
