Vehicle Detail
For sale is a rare Cypress Green Pearl 1996 Honda del Sol DOHC VTEC. This is number 142 of only about 600 that were produced for the model year in this color. The vehicle is equipped with a targa top that stores in the trunk on a rack designed for the roof panel. The rear window rolls down to complete the open air feeling when cruising with the top off. This is a two-seater that has plenty of space and a large trunk, even with the roof panel stored in the trunk. The vehicle includes many rare and hard to find parts. It comes with original Honda del Sol seat covers, an OEM nose mask, Catz MSX driving lights with a PIA wireless switch, Alpine head unit custom wired to control the OEM 6 disc CD changer, Mugen racing pedals, a Mugen radiator cap, a Mugen fan switch, an Integra Type R 5-speed transmission with limited slip differential, TODA matched and balanced lightweight flywheel and racing clutch, a Skunk2 short-throw shifter and shift knob, Energy Suspension shifter bushings, JIC Magic FLT-A2 fully adjustable coilovers, Energy Suspension bushings in the front and rear suspension assemblies, Skunk2 Pro adjustable front upper arms, a Skunk2 stainless steel cat-back exhaust, EBC Greenstuff brake pads, EBC slotted and dimpled brake rotors, Goodridge stainless steel brake lines, 16x7.0 Rota C10 gunmetal rims, Comptech rear swaybar/tiebar, and Energy Suspension motor mounts. I have been told many times that this is one of the best put together del Sols on the road. The vehicle has been well cared for and I've maintained a maintenance log since the first day I owned the vehicle. It does have some rust in the typical areas for these models. The rear wheel arches have rust where they meet up with the plastic bumper cover. There is some rust on the underside of the trunk lid near the license plate lights. A little loving and the car will look brand new again. Spring is here and this is a great car for cruising around with the top off.On Apr-21-16 at 22:39:56 PDT, seller added the following information: Included with the sale of the vehicle is the Honda Factory Service Manual. This is the book that the Honda mechanics often reference when working on the vehicle. On Apr-25-16 at 22:46:59 PDT, seller added the following information: I have located the second master key and the valet key for the vehicle. In addition, the vehicle went in for an oil change on Saturday, Apr 23. The dealership found during their multi-point inspection that the driver side rear ABS sensor will need replacing soon. I was told that if the sensor goes out, the ABS system will be disabled; but the rest of the braking system will remain functional. I believe it is important to disclose this information so that you know what you are bidding on.
