Used, well maintained 2003 GMC Safari Van. Purchased in June 2013 from a Chevy dealer. Only one previous owner. Non-smoking. Cloth seats in very good condition; no tears. Power windows and door locks. Side windows crack open for ventilation. Has rear heat and air vents. Rear window defog. AM/FM radio with CD player in working condition. Great gas mileage. New rear brakes and rotors as of 12/2014. New spark plugs and wires in July 2015. Small oil leak detected (via dye) near oil pan in July 2015. Told not to repair; just keep an eye on the oil level and add a quart if necessary. Newer AutoCraft Gold Battery with 5 year warranty. Four (4) brand new Continental Truecontact tires 195/60R15 88T installed in July 2015. New blower motor and electrical connection installed in 8/2015. Needs a new AC compressor, all other AC components check out fine. Temperature control valve replaced in 12/2015. Replaced multi-function switch and headlight switch in 2/2016.Check engine light has come on and off since we drove it home from the dealer. In 11/2015 I sat in the shop for 9 hours while they tried to figure out why. Pulling codes P0300 and P0335. Replaced Crank Shaft Position Sensor and re-shimmed twice previously and again this time. No luck. Mechanic told me not to worry about it. I drive the car daily and have had no problems; it's just annoying that the light flashes. Paint in good condition for age of vehicle: 13+ years old, but a few small spots of rust starting to form. The only reason I'm selling is because I have a 2004 Chevy Astro Van that was not running and I needed to go on a road trip. Came across the Safari and bought it. Astro is working now and have to sell one of them. The Safari pulled the short straw. I will truly miss the great gas mileage on the Safari as the Astro is AWD and definitely does not have as good fuel economy, but it does have cruise control and outside temperature/compass, which the Safari does not.
