1976 MERCEDES BENZ 450 SL CONVERTIBLE.I BOUGHT THIS CAR 2 YEARS AGO FOR MY NEPHEW.HE NEVER PAID ME FOR IT SO I AM HAVING TO SELL IT.IT DROVE GOOD WHEN PURCHASED BUT HASN'T BEEN ON THE ROAD SINCE.IT STARTS RIGHT UP AND THE ENGINE SOUNDS GOOD WITH NO NOISES(.IT HAS NEW CARPET.NEW SEAT COVERS NEW DOOR PANELS THE AC DOESN'T WORK,THE RIGHT WINDOW DOESN'T WORK SOMETIMES.THE RIGHT WINDOW SWITCTH IS BAD.I CAIN'T LOWER THE TOP.I THINK THE CABLE IS BROKEN.THE DASH IS VERY GOOD WITH NO CRACKS.THERE IS SOME RUST IN THE USUAL PLACES,WHEEL WELLS AND BUMPER VALENCE.THERE IS SOME REPAIRED DAMAGE ON THE DRIVER SIDE FENDER.NOT A GOOD JOB.ASK ANY QUESTIONS BEFORE BIDDING.THIS IS NOT A PERFECT CAR AS SUCH DON'T EXPECT IT TO BE.On Mar-28-16 at 12:20:51 PDT, seller added the following information: I ADDED 3 MORE PICTURES OF SOME SERIAL #'S UNDER THE HOOD SOMEONE ASKED FOR.On Apr-23-16 at 06:18:52 PDT, seller added the following information: I added 3 more pictures of the trunk area as per request of a bidder.On Apr-24-16 at 06:23:36 PDT, seller added the following information: I looked a little closer at the underside of the car.There is some rust behind the front seats.Since the bottom is undercoated I cain't see it,but it feels soft from inside the car.The front floor boards feel solid.
