I purchased this R100RS in July 1989 from the estate of what I believe to be the original owner. Bike has recently been maintained by Irv Seaver BMW in Orange, CA and previously by Max BMW in NY and long ago, Amol Cycles in NJ. Very good riding condition, not restored. This R100RS has a clear title and is currently registered through August 2016 in CA. Stock condition with a Corbin Dual Canyon Seat (original not available), braided brake lines, ride-off center stand, cylinder protection bars, rear rack and BMW hard bags in very good condition. Fuel tank has a small ding just under the left side BMW roundel. Some minor scratches that are typical of a 37 year old motorcycle. Could use new steering head bearings. Unfortunately the clock does not work. All other gauges, lights and horns function correctly.
