This is my personal vehicle I have used in Europe. I imported the car and went through the tedious and complicated work of making the car US legal, so you won't have to do it and got it registered in the USA, meaning I have a clean and clear Title on hand under my name. This Toyota is a LJ73. L standing for Luxury. The number 73 stands for the body type and this one is the medium length, 2 doors. It's equipped with the very reliable 2.5 Liters, 4 cylinders inline and a very rare Turbo known as the 2L-T. Gear box is a 5 speed, shifts like new. The car drove 23126 Miles since new (37219 Kms) and counting, have all documents, has been serviced at the same mechanic and kept in a heated garage at home when not in use. The body has been resprayed about 15 years ago with the exact same brown color than the original and added tiny metallic touch to make it more shining. There is absolutely NO rust on the chassis and the frame. NO blistering paint or bubble of any kind, NO rock chips because the car stayed garaged its entire life and pampered. Actually, there is even NOT a single scratch on the paint. Interior is also original with no stains, no tears, no smell. Carpet is original to day one and has NO stains. The radio is factory original, manual knobs and you will have to upgrade it to a newer version to get reception. The radio will work in Europe for instance but not in the USA. Seats are perfect and adjustable. There is a knob in front of both seats and but turning it clockwise or counterclockwise, you can adjust how stiff or soft you want the seat to be; it's ideal when doing off-road and it will make your ride more enjoyable. Window seal, rubbers are like new with no cracks and there is NO leaks from the removable hard top. The fiberglass FRP top is from factory, NOT cracked, has the optional and desirable sliding glass. By removing the FRP top, you will get a nice convertible and can be set up with different configurations: Some photos show a few example. 1) you can keep the hard top on with all the doors. 2) you can keep the hard top on without the front doors. 3) you can remove the top and keep the front and rear doors. 4) you can remove the top and remove either front doors and just remove the glass on the rear doors. 5) you can remove the top, remove the safety bar, remove the rolling cage and fold the windshield over the hood and you will have a flat looking type of Safari car. 6) you can do step 5 by keeping or removing any or all doors (a true outdback look). Motor pulls strong, has lots of torque, does NOT smoke and fires up easily. Injectors were checked, fuel pump checked, glow plug changed, oil change few days ago, tires rotated few days ago. The original and UNUSED tools with their original Toyota bag and the bottle jack is also included and from factory. As seen on the photos, you can still see the painted markers on the cable/pulley system for the injection and that's original from factory. The rims were powder coated on Thursday April 7th 2016. Front disc brakes are brand new with brand new pads and rear brakes have brand new pads as well. The reason the brakes and pads were changes, was to make it compliant with the DOT/EPA. It's a 2 Tons car and need to stop quickly. Motor is original and as seen on the photo, the Turbo intake and rubber hose (the blue one) were upgraded for DOT/EPA compliance, thus a stainless steel intake and silicon rubber hose. Undercarriage is original, has NO rust, NO oil leaks. This Landcruiser has never done any muddy off-road but has been driven on the road instead. I will include the original handbook from Toyota seen in the photos. NOTE: this Toyota is legally imported in the USA, comes with a Florida State Title under my name and is exempted from smog check as it is a vehicle over 25 years old and some states, will register it as a collectible vehicle.
