Up for auction is this restored 1974 JEEP J20 4x4 pickup. This Jeep has been painted in a 1978 jeep loden green basecoat/clear coat and then has been sanded & polished. The engine is a AMC 360 HD with a 2bl carb. (The amc 360 HD has heavier valve train.) The engine has been professionally overhauled and bored .030 over with new pistons, rings, rod bearings, crank bearings, camshaft, cam bearings, lifters and water pump. The heads have been gone thru also with new exhaust valves and seals. The timing chain/oil pump housing and oil pump has been replaced with a new Bulltear housing and pump. The distributor has been completely rebuilt . ALL engine electrical and mechanical accessories have been replaced with NEW. The rear brake drums and brakes are new. The front brake pads have been replaced. All four shocks have been replaced. The brake booster, master cylinder and proportioning valve are new. The steering arm, draglink and tie rods have been replaced. The front differntial is a HD Dana 44 and the rear differential is a HD Dana 60 both have been cleaned, inspected and re-assembled with new gaskets. The transfer case is Borg Warner Quadra Trac 1339 that has been updated with a Mile Marker part-time 4x4 and 16% overdrive kit. Has Mile Marker wheel lockouts and Hi/Lo two speed transfer case. The transmission is TH400 automatic that has been rebuilt . The truck sits on new LT 235/85R16 10 ply Mudstar tires. The interior has been restored also. There is many other things that have been replaced or restored on this truck. This truck has just been listed for sale since the restoration has been completed. It has 107350 miles total and 60 miles since restoration.
