Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is my 1995 Jeep Wrangler YJ. It is excellent mechanical condition with only 183,xxx miles. The vehicle is over twenty years old so there are various imperfections, and those that are more significant than others I have included pictures of. But overall, this is a great looking classic Jeep Wrangler. A year ago I put an Old Man Emu 2" lift on it. It includes factory hard top as well as a Bestop soft top in good condition. I have both full and half doors. It includes the four grab straps as seen in the photos as well as a flashlight holster, fire extinguisher holster, overhead light, and Thule cross bars. Even though they are in the photos, what WILL NOT be included are the attachments on the Thule rack, HiLift jack, Yeti bottle opener on front bumper, and the front/ rear fog lights. These will be removed from the Jeep prior to selling the vehicle. It is not pictured, but I am also including a tow bar I have for the front of the Jeep should you want to trail it behind another vehicle or motorhome. The seats are in very good condition. As you can see, I added a middle seat in the front where there was once a console. This came out of a Jeep Wagoneer and the color matches pretty well. It is just a lap belt, and the seat is small so it's only comfortable for a child or small adult. It has a functioning sound bar and I have added an amp and rear speakers in the back with cup holders on the top of them. The tires are in great shape and have a lot of life left. There is a spot on the interior of the left door where the metal has a crack in it as shown in the photos. This doesn't affect its function in any way. The windshield also has a couple chips and two cracks as seen in the photos. These have been there since I purchased the Jeep and have not gotten any larger. I always meant to replace the glass, I just never got around to it. In the photos, you can see on the roof there is black material. It is insulation I covered in fabric then attached to the roof with Velcro during the frigid winter months we have up here in Chicago. It easily comes out if you have no desire to keep it. This Jeep has always been adult driven(non-smokers) and spent all of its life in the south up until I purchased it a few years ago. Despite the fact that it's been in Illinois for three years, there is no notable rust on the Jeep. I kept it regularly washed so it would stay in the same great shape that I purchased it in. Please view the additional photos in my photobucket and feel free to ask questions.
