Selling my 68 Firebird that I bought hoping to restore and keep in my collection, but decided to finish another car I'm building so here it is. I bought this from a older gentlemen who was building it together with his son and they put a fresh Pontiac 400 V8,with 6X Heads which are the best,cam,aluminum intake,headers,electic fuel pump,holley carb,and etc. They put it in about 5 yeatrs ago and it just sat around because it needed paint and interior so they finally decided to sell it to me. The car cranks up instantly and has a very tight and strong 400 in it that sounds amazing!!!! The oil is as clean as a brand new car is. It has a 3 speed tranny with a B/M shifter. This car shows 58,186 on it. I just put a new battery,rebuild the carb, tune up and did a complete brake job replacing all the brakes,hoses,master cylinder,and some lines and the brakes work as they should now. All the interior is there but will need replacing which year one sells a complete interior kit that will make it look like a new car when you open the door and the console and kick panels with the vents are in the trunk. The trunk pan is solid and the body is good other then a dent on the drivers side lower door and drivers front fender that happened the day the previous owner was loading it on a car hauler and rubbed the trailer fender but can easily be fixed when your doing the bodywork for paint and there is a few little rust spots in the usual places on these cars but can also be easily cut out and patched since there small! It kills me to let this one go because Im a Pontiac fan and I had big plans on building this one with a fuel-injected LS and make into a daily driver but I decided to finish another car Im in the middle of finishing up.
