Up for sale is my 1981 DeLorean DMC-12. Completely original down to the tires and Radio. Still has original Goodyear NCT tires, engine belts and hoses, and exhaust system (muffler has 81 stamp). She runs and drives like a charm before I stored her. The automatic transmission shifts very smooth. I still have the Bill of sale when I bought the car 12 years ago. I do NOT have a title for the car! It was in the other owners name AND I LOST IT! I was told I can bring the car to D.M.V. for a new title after they check the car out, but can not get her to run right after spending a lot of money. I called a title company and was told new owner should have no problem to get one because she is a 1981. Check with your state. I will sell car with Bill of sale. The passenger side fender had been changed before I bought the car 12 years ago. It has the wrong moulding on it and I could not find it. The car had a factory stripe on it when I got it. Gaps and seams between the urethane bumpers and stainless are off alittle on both sides as seen in pictures. Front and back bumper have very little paint missing, 1 ding on passenger rear panel. She has a scratches and dents on the hood. You can still buy a new hood. Hood hinge that goes inside the hood needs to be put back on, broken cable so I keep it open. Very clean engine compartment with all factory stickers still there, chassis is very clean no rust at all. Wheel wells are very clean. The interior has been well maintained and shows. 2 dashboard cracks on top by steering wheel. Car sat in storage so I drained the fuel tank and replaced the fuel pump and fuel filter. Just had done new fuel lines front to back big job, New battery, New plugs and oil service. The factory engine starts up no problem but will not hold a idle. Fuel problem I was told after I spent $1800,00. If you know about the engine it should be no problem. When she runs there are no leaks at all. Car has been stored in a climate controlled garage and body shows. No corrosion issues. If you're looking for an investment DeLorean, this is it! I have books and manuals that comes with the car. A gold axle, A newspaper from 1980 about the car. This car will stop traffic at all cars shows and evry where you go, Pictures all the time! She need some Love to make her mint again.
