Vehicle Detail

This listing is for one original 138 Super Sport 1967 chevelle with a clear blue Texas title and one parts car 1966 136 chevelle that comes with a Texas Nonrepairable Vehicle Title. I bought the project from a friend so I don't know all the history of the two cars but will describe them as accurately as possible and inspections are welcome. The 1967 SS body was in the process of a frame off restoration. The forward 3/4 of the floor was replaced but not yet primered. It is missing the rear portion of the floor panel as well as the trunk panel. DISCLAIMER AND NOTICE: The chassis currently under the 67 SS was originally under the 1966. It is only secured with the 6 body bolts so that it can easily be removed. I am not making any representations as to how the vehicle should be titled. If you want to use the original 67 chassis all of the suspension parts look like they can be transferred over from the 66. The 1966 was burned but the chassis remained intact and had quite a bit of money put into it. It had stainless steel exhaust from the manifolds to the tips. Stainless steel fuel tank and lowered suspension all the way around. The engine looks freshly rebuilt and starts and runs smoothly. It currently has a battery and can be turned on where it sits. We removed the intake manifold to polish it and the engine looked very clean. We were not able to test the transmission but it is a 3 speed which is not very desireable. The 1967 body does NOT have a clutch pedal so it can be removed from the 1966 body or the transmission can be switched to a 350 hydramatic which would be a lot easier. the 1966 comes with a TEXAS NONREPAIRABLE TITLE, see picture and is being sold as a PARTS CAR ONLY. The missing portions of the floor panel on the 67 can be removed from the 1966 body. The 1966 has other body parts that can be salvaged such as the rear quarter panels. This is a huge project. No sugar coating it will cost 10k to 15k to finish. However, original SS 138 1967 cars are becoming more and more rare and the car will hold its value. I would only buy this car if you can do the body work and paint yourself. My painting skills are mediocre at best. The seats come with the 1967 but the seats are for a non-SS on the front. You will need the bucket seats and console to keep it original. The car also comes with all the glass. However, it does not come with any wiring, dash, steering column, cluster or gages. If it is not in the pictures, it is not included. This is a great opportunity to build a frame off SS at a low entry price. Call if you have any questions but don't bid on this car if you don't have any experience rebuilding classic cars.
