This is a true 1969 GS400 Convertible, not a clone. Car is in nice condition, clean and reliable. This is a ground up restored car, done about 5 years ago, most everything replaced, belts, hoses, brake lines etc. Engine is a rebuilt good running 1971 455, original 4bll rochester carb. Aluminum radiator, runs cool. Transmission is a rebuilt TH350 that shifts good, no leaks. Power steering, power brakes[original finned aluminum front drums] power windows, power top that works properly, aftermarket FM/CD player, gauges and original 8 track player. Nice set of BF Goodrich radial TA tires. Car is not a perfect #1 show car, a few chips in the paint. a little rust on the wheels but gets a lot of looks and attention at cruise-ins and parades. Rare car, 1 of 1253 1969 GS400 convertibles built. Top, carpet and interior extra nice. Originally a dark green car with black top and interior. I liked the blue metallic and white top much better. I have enjoyed this car but it is time to move on to other projects. Tag receipts only, title not required on pre 1975 vehicles in Alabama. Thanks for looking.
