I have driven it across the country many times and that is where many of the miles come from. 3 years ago I decided to lift it because I liked the look, but it is not a mud truck. I have never had it in the mud.The only work ever done to the engine was valve cover gaskets replaced, glow plugs replaced, injectors cleaned, vacuum pump replaced twice, Power steering pump and hoses replaced, Transmission rebuilt twice and finally replaced by local Ford dealer. Other than that, only maintenance has been done ..ie oil and filter changes, batteries, belts and hoses and brakes. I did install a SuperChips controller to increase the MPG. Bottom line is that this is a great truck, but it is 20 years old and is not perfect but very nice for its age.As most of you know, The 7.3 Powerstroke diesel engine has plenty of power and will last well over 500,000 miles when taken care of, which I have done. Most all of the the other drive components have been replaced so the 348,000 miles that are on this truck are nothing compared too what it has left in it. The donor truck that the axles came from had 124, 000 miles on it.
