Vehicle Detail

PLEASE READ, MOST QUESTIONS ARE ANSWERED WITHIN THE LISTING. Presented for auction is possibly the Holy Grail of FZJ80 Land Cruisers. I have owned this Land Cruiser for most of it's life and reluctantly offer it for sale due to changes in my life. Here is it's story: I purchased this vehicle back in the early 2000's. From my understanding it was originally retailed, new, in Georgia on an executive lease. When the lease had run it's course it was sold to a Texas dealer, who then sold it to me. So basically if you eliminate the dealers, I am the second owner. This is my third Land Cruiser and as were the previous Cruisers, this one was garaged and pampered from the day I received it. I am pretty particular about my Cruisers and keep up on the maintenance, almost always using only genuine parts. Oil has been changed every 3000-4000 miles, and trans/diff fluids changed about every 30,000. Vehicle has all it's original paint/body panels and has not been involved in any accidents. OPTIONS/ACCESSORIES: This is what Toyota called the Collector's Edition which came with two tone paint, climate control, and cool emblems on floor mats and body. (By the way, I have a new set of original floor mats squirreled away somewhere so buyer please remind me to give those to you, if I can find them.) Color is dark green and silver. This Cruiser has the highly desirable front and rear DIFFERENTIAL LOCKS and the rare TRD SUPERCHARGER. It is a beast compared to the normally aspirated Cruiser. Additionally, I have added the CENTER DIFFERENTIAL lock switch, only available on non USA FZJ80 Cruisers. Normally the center differential locks only in low range. This switch allows locking of the center diff in high range. Although I do not take my Cruiser off road, I still like it to look as off road capable as it is. Therefore, it is equipped with an ARB non winch bull bar bumper, White Knuckle rock sliders, Bilstein shocks, rear bumper and tail light protectors, IPF fog lights. It also has a Sony in dash DVD player with Bluetooth etc. The dash has an expensive carbon fiber trim kit so the inside looks as good as the outside. It also has a BORLA cat back exhaust system. Truck also has a Viper alarm and remote start. TWO SETS OF WHEELS: Truck comes with the stock and a set of custom wheels. The stock wheels have an almost new set of Bridgestone Blizzak snow tires, put on at 162,000 miles. The custom wheels, depicted in the first picture, are the summer wheels. They are 17x9 KMC XD SPY wheels. The wheels are in decent condition but the tires are shot. CONDITION: As stated above, this Cruiser has been properly maintained and is ready for a cross country trip or a trip through the Aussie outback. At 165,000 the miles are low. The original paint shines and presents well. It does have a few parking lot scuffs because no matter how far you park out in a parking lot, inevitably, some jealous moron, with a piece of crap ride, will park right next to you. The most noticeable is the right rear bumper and left front fender flare. I took pictures of both. The ARB bar and rock sliders could probably use a repaint sometime. The front seats were covered for all the time I owned it and the back seats seldom used. Therefore the leather is in very good condition, although the driver's seat cushion is showing a little deterioration. There is a few spots of surface rust but most have been touched up. On particular one is about a quarter coin size on the upper tailgate. The wheels have some corrosion due to age. MECHANICAL: One word first, SUPERCHARGED. Engine is strong but must use premium fuel. There is the typical Land Cruiser oil seepage, at the bottom, however, it does not leave puddles and it does not use a quart, between changes. The transmission and driveline work as they should. I noticed, the other day, the brakes are starting to shudder. Pads appear to be good, so the rotors probably need some attention. The front windows have the typical slowness, in colder weather and the front passenger has popped off it's track once. I just have not had time to fix that. The rear window defroster does not work as the lines got damaged. I really can not think of anything else but it is 19 years old so keep in mind it is not new and there may be things that just don't come to mind. ASK QUESTIONS PLEASE. MAINTENANCE: Working backwards the following has been done. 162,000 new Bridgestone Blizzak light truck tires. 161,049 Magnaflow all stainless direct fit catalytic converters installed. Also spark plugs, wires, etc. 157,412 replaced a/c compressor and receiver dryer. 154,800 front brake pads and calipers. 153,230 replaced both O2 senors. 147,262 replaced battery with Interstate. 136,623 disassemble and reseal front axle. 116,500 pull intake and clean and rebuild EGR system to fix check engine light issue. This is in addition to the regular maintenance I perform. TERMS: Winning bidder must deposit $200 my PayPal account. Payment must be verified by my bank and vehicle will not leave my residence until my bank is satisfied that the funds are legit and there can be no stop payments etc. I am cautious due to being previously defrauded. Vehicle can be picked up in Sturgis, Michigan. If you wish to ship it, cost and arrangements are your responsibility. This is an awesome truck, all your friends will be jealous, especially the ones, with Cruisers, that have the no supercharger model. ATTENTION: Not interested in trades and I will not give it away, so no low ball offers please. ON THE WEB: If you Google White Knuckle Off Road, the truck is featured on their website. Just click on the TOYOTA 80 SERIES/LX470, on the left side of the Home page. Ebay would not let me add link. DISCLAIMER: I have had a couple questions about taking this vehicle on a cross country trip. I would have no problem getting into this Land Cruiser, right now, and heading off on a trip to Alaska. It is solid, with a recent oil change, so it is ready. However, as with most things in life, there are no guarantees. Therefore, this Land Cruiser is sold as is with no warranties. BUY IT NOW: I have added a Buy It Now after several inquiries regarding ending the auction early. Use the Buy It Now and I will have new tires installed on the custom wheels for your ride home. On Mar-06-16 at 04:20:14 PST, seller added the following information: I have been getting a few questions about the condition of this truck. The truck is 19 years old, 15 of those years have been spent in Michigan. It has 165,000 miles on it and I would describe it as above average. The paint is original and still shines nicely, with a good wax job. There are a some nicks here and there but most have been touched up. The underside is obviously not Florida truck clean but still decent. The truck presents well, all shined up, and most people can not believe it is 19 years old. The Kalamazoo Toyota dealer has been trying to get it from me for years. On Mar-08-16 at 14:56:34 PST, seller added the following information: I have had a few questions about the under body therefore since we had decent weather, today, I gave the under body a good power wash and took some pictures. From what I can see most of the factory undercoat remains, along with what I have put on over the years. My normal routine is to flush the under body once a week during winter months and then give it a power wash in the Spring. I then touch up any areas that need it due to under coat coming off, etc. The frame and floorboards are solid. The one small spot I did notice was some rust on the left rocker rear, near the rear fender flare. I touched it up but might need attention, down the road. Additionally, The ARB bull bar, rock sliders, etc, could use a paint job. I had them powder coated, a few years back but they need it again. On Mar-09-16 at 18:39:30 PST, seller added the following information: You can here it run at this You Tube link: https://youtu.be/dXpzoFKSx74
