This 1995 Alfa Romeo 164 was purchased on eBay by one of my female customers. She flew to New York to pick up the car and drove the car back to Savannah GA and surprisingly had no issues with the car. The car has developed a rather unsettling noise from under the front valve cover and she has opted to pass the car onto another Alfa lover to correct whatever the issue might be or use as a parts car. The motor still has great oil pressure and is not misfiring – Our shop is unfamiliar with this particular Alfa motor and she declined our investigating the issues. Clearly the car needs some other work but clearly I would not recommend driving the car until the issue is repaired. It would be fine to drive onto a trailer or transporter.
