You are bidding on a1972 Chevrolet K/10 factory 4x4 pickup truck. This is a very straight truck, currently finished in black primer over the original Dark Green and White two-tone paint. This truck has the optional "Big" back window, and is a factory four-wheel-drive model. This is a perfect truck to enjoy while you finish the restoration... just a paint job and small details to go, and you've got a $12,000.00-$15,000.00 truck. I bought this to restore, but have a half-dozen in line in front. If it doesn't sell to one of you, I'll finish it out when I get to it. It's a fantastic truck and an easy finish. The truck is a daily driver, and is both smooth and reliable. The original 350 V8 engine runs flawlessly, and has with just under 50k miles on a light overhaul. It runs just great; literally as good as new. TH400 automatic transmission shifts just as it should. True power steering and power brakes makes it a pleasure to drive. The electrical, gauges (has gauge package),lights, signals, wipers, etc. are in proper working order. Original unmodified dash without cuts or additions. The original glove box door with build tag showing options is still present. There are no rust issues to speak of; very dry and solid. A tad under the battery tray, but that's it. The bed is not "the" original, but is a rust-free bed from another 1972 Chevy truck. The bed came from a Cheyenne package truck, and has the factory holes in the tail gate for the Cheyenne tail gate trim, and has had the holes on the sides of the bed filled and primed. The following is the list of all new parts, work, etc: -New HEI ignition, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, and tune up -New Edelbrock 600 CFM 4-barrel carburetor -New Air Cleaner -New Power brake booster -New Brake Master cylinder -New Water pump, belts, hoses, cooling system flush and fill -NewWindshield and Seal -New Big Back window and seals -New door panels-New Arm Rests-New door pulls and window cranks -New Grant Steering Wheel-New dash gauge bezel -New Carpet kit installed -New Exterior Sport mirrors -New Chrome front bumper -New Chrome rear bumper -New Optima red top dry-cell battery -New Voltage regulator -New Alternator-New Starter The truck starts the first try, runs perfectly, drives extremely well. Newer "rock crawler" steel wheels with decent BFG Radial Off Road T/A tires. 4x4 works exactly as it should. Clear title in hand. You are a paint job away from a $12k-$15k + truck.
