Vehicle Detail

Selling my 1966 Ford F100. This truck has been a ton of fun. It starts every time, runs great and is a blast to drive.. I bought it intending to baby it but ended up using it as a daily driver for a while and never had any problems. I have to admit I'm no gearhead. I'm fairly handy and have kept up on maintenance but all the cool stuff was done by the guy I bought it from. Here is the list of features from his original Craigslist advertisement:-FE 390 from 1972 F100-Edelbrock aluminum intake-Edelbrock 600 manual Carb-Hedman Elite Headers-Custom dual exhaust-Power Steering (original)-Pertronix Electronic Ignition Module-4 speed manual transmission- Bluetooth stereo and Pioneer Amp W/ JBL speakers (Stereo is hidden in glove compartment, Amp behind seat, and speakers tastefully added to doors to preserve classic interior) I'm not sure what the bed is lined with but its super tough and in great shape. Also included with the truck is a ridiculous pile of extras. The guy I bought it from had spares for everything. Just check out the pictures. From new brake drums and shoes to a spare clutch, new sparks plugs and oil filters, down to replacement knobs and a new cigarette lighter. If he didn't update it already, there is a good chance he bought the part. There is too much to list so I included a couple pictures. If there are any specifics you're interested in don't hesitate to ask. The not so great- The paint is kind of ugly. He painted it himself and it shows. When you get close up there are some drips and bumps. There are also a few very superficial rust spots and a couple dents. Also, I had an issue with an old gas cap leaking a couple times. The gas messed with the white paint below the cap but didn't harm the undercoating. Not bad at all for a 50 year old truck but worth mentioning. I thought about getting it professionally painted but decided it wasn't necessary for me. Mechanically this truck is fantastic and the interior is in great shape so if you decided to paint it you'd have a real show stopper. Buyer is responsible for shipping or pickup. I've had good luck with uship.com. If you want to drive it home that could be an option too. The first thing I did after buying this truck is drive it 600 miles home. I don't know if I'd recommend it but its not impossible. If you have any questions give me a call at 402-570-0734. The wheels/tires on it are bigger than the originals. This throws the speedometer and odometer off. Using gps I've figured it reads about 2/3 of your actual speed. Judging by when the previous owner put the wheels on the odometer could be reading 1000-1500 fewer than actual miles.
