1983 Jeep CJ-7, Mileage: 95,845 *mileage is for the vehicle, unknown for the motor clear New Mexico title in hand ***** NO RESERVE ***** 350 v8 Chevy Motor with 4 Barrel Carb (Rochester Quadrajet) and Aluminum intake T-176 4 Speed Transmission Dana 300 Transfer Case Lift: “Jeep YJ conversion” = much better ride than CJ springs 2.5" OME Old Man Emu “YJ” springs Currie shackles, and shackle hangers (front and rear) Skyjacker Shocks Custom Driveshafts *replaced all body mounts Dana 20 Rear Axle with Two Piece Axles (stamped “BB” – indicating 3.31 trac-lok) *Axle shaft nuts have been re-torqued Dana 30 Front Axle Custom Dual Exhaust LT 285/75/R16 Nitto Dune Grappler Tires (LOTS of life left on these, see photos) 16x8 Procomp black aluminum wheels / McGard lugnuts (solid) Rugged Ridge recliner seats, Tuffy center console with custom tan matching cover, New “made in USA Bikini Top” with sail battens sewn in Marine Jeep Radio (with aux input line run to tuffy console) Marine Speakers (in half doors and in boxes in the tub – 6 speaker system total, plus Pyle amplifier for rear speakers) PSC Motorsports Power Steering Pump PSC Motorsports Steering Gear Box Borgeson Steering Shaft and Tilt steering column skyjacker steering stabilizer (new) Brakes: all hard and soft brake lines replaced, includes braided extended rear line (body to axle), New master cylinder, New rear drums/brake pads/springs etc, Speed bleeders for all brakes (disc front / drum rear) Electric booster fuel pump and WIX filter at the tank, clear glass fuel filter at the carb HELLA headlights conversion kit, KC lights and LED lights on the front bumper fluids changed – oil + filter, both differentials (front equipped with lube locker gasket), brakes, transfer case and transmission, coolant flushed/refilled, new spark plugs Autometer gauges for oil pressure, engine coolant temp, voltmeter, and RPM, LED bulbs in the speedo cluster (original OEM speedo, *the original OEM oil pressure and voltmeter gauges are still in the dash covered by plasti-dip) *all wiring has been replaced under the hood and dash, common ground installed, everything facory or after-market is fused and uses relays = no electrical gremlins!!! Blazer motor heater upgrade done – heater blows nice and hot! Optima Red Top Battery with heat shield Smittybuilt rear bumper, bull bar on the front Other: New tailgate gasket and cables (2), hood vents, leather steering wheel cover, *** also included is a cab cover for when its parked, and soft upper doors (matching tan color), BestTop belt rail system installed, ready for a full soft top if you want it, New windshield-to-cowl gasket Jeep Drives excellent – cruises at 80mph effortlessly, straight down the road at about 2900 rpm, had alignment checked by Big O tires – no changes needed, dead on. Paint/body/interior looks good, but this is a driver – not a show vehicle, so don’t expect it to be perfect. This is a solid dependable jeep CJ-7, v8 runs great and sounds awesome, and all the "usual headaches" with an old jeep are already taken care of for you - brakes, electrical, body mounts, YJ spring conversion, blazer motor heater upgrade, etc - you'll be proud to show up anywhere in this CJ7! No worries = fun driving! It really is as solid and clean as it looks, I have photos of the floors before installing the rubber flooring and tons of photos of the underside ... I hate the term "rust free" for a 30+ year old jeep unless it was frame-off restored and dipped ... but this one won't disappoint. Keep it as is, or modify and customize you will love driving it - shifts smooth and revs beautifully, lots of fun and with summer coming it's the perfect time to get one! The bad: VERY small chip in the windshield that was professionally sealed one turn signal won’t self-cancel, but *ALL* lights work4wd indicator light in the speedo cluster is intermittent when in 4wdHeater cables are tight and one knob is loose *CASH / CERTIFIED CHECK only* sold As-Is, no warranty – inspections and shipping arrangements are the responsibility of the buyer.
