1977 FJ40 up for sale. I am only the 3rd owner and have had it for 3 years now. The truck spent most of it's life in Florida with the original owner. This FJ runs well and is a blast to drive. The odometer reads 86,230 miles on it. It has been lifted with suspension and guide bars to allow for the 35" Goodyear Wrangler Kevlar MT/R tires. The tires are in excellent shape and have a lot of tread left on them. The interior has aircraft style seats with updated restraints. The top is original and I have never taken it off. The body is clean and straight, but showing a little bit of age. I have replaced the carburetor, alternator, solenoid and battery since I have had it. There was something draining the battery, so a local mechanic installed an electrical switch that turns the battery on and off. There are newer KC fog lights installed, as well as an XRC8 Smittybilt winch on the front, with a full size spare tire on the back.I am selling the truck due to my work travel schedule not letting be home enough to enjoy it.
