Vehicle Detail
1969 GMC C20Custom Camper This old truck is a true survivor that has been well taken care of and it shows. Two owner truck having spent most of it's life in Idaho. Mileage is believed to be original but there's no way to confirm. The overall condition of the truck would lend me to believe that it may be original miles. She runs and drives great and still has the original engine and drivetrain. The engine (original 350 CID) fires right up and runs smooth with no funny noises or mechanical issues. The 4 speed manual transmission and clutch shifts as it should and is strong with no issues. The exhaust is quiet and all four all-terrain tires are a matching set and are in nearly new condition. She rolls down the road, around town or at highway speeds, smooth and straight. The body is in fantastic shape and is very straight. All trim and badging is present and the chrome is in great shape as well. The driver's side floor is solid and the rocker has already been professionally replaced and painted. The passenger side rocker and cab corner has been replaced with metal but the outer floor along the rocker shows some rust (see photo). All panels, inner and outer, are very straight and solid with no rot. The undercarriage is solid with only minor surface rust, but no rust-through or rot. The interior is in very nice condition with the exception of the seat upholstery (driver's side), which is to be expected. The foam seat padding is still intact and in good condition but the seat would need to be recovered or seat cover installed to avoid further tearing. The dash pad is in great shape and all gauges work as they should. The glass, all the way around, is in beautiful shape with no chips, hazing, or cracks. All lights work as they should. Overall, this truck is in great shape inside and out with a nice patina. It would make a great daily driver and enjoyed as is or it is a definitely a solid candidate for an easy "back to original" restoration. It would also make a cool shop truck. These are very hard to come by in this good of condition. The reserve is set low and is priced to sell. I picked this truck up with the intention of using it as a driver and to enjoy running errands in, but plans have changed and I need to let her go to help fund another project that I want to get started on. I love the late 60's and early 70's GMC's and Chevy's and this is one of the most solid, good running ones that I have come across in quite a while. I have no doubt the next owner will enjoy her. Please ask all questions before bidding. I have additional pictures that I'm happy to email to serious buyers. Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs and arrangements and I'm happy to help all I can on my end to ensure things go smoothly with your shipper when picking up the truck. I've worked with a great shipper in the past who works out of the Salt Lake City area that I can also refer you to for a shipping bid. Truck is being sold as is. I have a clear and clean Utah Title in hand. I reserve the right to end the auction at any time for any reason. I've worked hard to earn my 100% positive feedback with eBay and I want to keep it that way. That being said I want you to have a great purchase experience and be happy with the truck. Again, please ask any questions before you bid and I'm happy to send additional photos of anything you'd like to see. ******I've been asked if I'd end the auction early with a "buy it now" option. Yes, feel free to email me a reasonable offer and if we agree on price I'm willing to end the auction early. If you'd like to discuss the truck email your phone number and I'm happy to call you directly. ******
