I have a newly restored 1968 Mustang. It has a supreme paint job, outstanding sound system (completely removable without damaging the car). Have Marti report on car. Engine matches body. Original Gulfstream Aqua Exterior and interior. 200cubic Inch 6cyl with automatic transmission. RUNS PERFECT, RIDES PERFECT. This car has been restored to it's original factory specifications. The car is registered and inspected yearly in MA. Locking Gas Cap, rebuilt carburetor, recently flushed transmission and transmission filter changed, Brand New Headliner. Brand new suspension, bushing, coil springs, leaf springs, sway bar, drum brakes (stops on a dime). THESE IMPROVEMENTS WERE MOSTLY DONE IN SUMMER 2011 All rust professionally removed (quarters replaced); Too much stuff to list, the interior is brand new, from carpet to headliner, has seat belts professionally installed into factory holes. Has iPhone/iPod dock There is ABSOLUTELY NO RUST on this car. It has been garaged for over 12 years. Professionally painted by "Ideal Auto Body" in Chelmsford MA with 3 color coats and 4 clear coats (no orange peal effect). This car is 99.9% done, That being said, there are areas for improvement. Areas for improvement: 1. Weatherstripping: If you get stuck in HEAVY rain, it will drip water in because some of the weatherstripping is older; 2. Defroster: The defrost works, but is not that powerful, so again DON'T DRIVE IN RAIN until these issues are fixed. 3. Rear Quarter window tracking: when you try to roll down the rear quarter windows they misalign and come off track (very easy fix if you know how to do it); I am only saying this because these are the ONLY issues, and I want to be fair and upfront. If you are looking for a fun classic car, with pep, that is good on gas, a toy for the sunny days, then look no further. This car is PERFECT for the beach.
