You are looking at a CJ 5 that I have owned for many years. I realize now that I will never have the time or energy to restore it so I'm offering it for sale at a very low price. It is not running but the motor is free and I know that the trans, transfer case, front and rear axles and wheel bearings are in good shape. This Jeep comes with a tow bar and could be towed anywhere on it's own drive train with a hitch and a 2" ball. No trailer required. Tires are OK. The hardtop is generally in good shape with the exception of a missing factory style outside drivers door handle and I broke the rear latch outside handle this morning. Left front fender is missing and tub is rusty. The frame is solid as far as I can see. Front axle is equipped with Warn locking hubs. This would make a good parts Jeep or a hunting jeep with a little work. It will take a pair of fenders, a tub, and probably engine work to restore it. What the pictures show is what it is. Jeep is on my farm East of Dallas Tx. If you can use this Jeep bid on it because it is cheap and easy to get home.
