This is a 1969 Chevy Camaro Convertible. I bought this car 10 years ago when I lived in NY, Drove great, had a ton of fun in it. However life changes and I got married moved to Texas and the car has just been sitting for the last 4 years. We moved out to the country last year and for the first time it has not been garaged. It needs to go, it is way too sad for me to watch this car just sit and go to waste. It has a small block 327 or 350( im not sure and it is not the original motor) in it, holley 4 barrel,and that's about it. It is an automatic and tranny and breaks works fine. This is a list of what I know it needs....new battery, something is draining it even when the car is off, now its dead. There is some rust, the trunk pan will need to be replaced, the quarter panels and maybe floor boards on one side. Might be more rust but thats the stuff I know of. The car will start with a jump but just found it now it needs a carb service, it was leaking gas out of the carb but it did start up just fine just had to be shut off right away. This car will have to be picked up by a transporter or tow truck at the very least until the carb service can be done. It has a new sony radio in it with amp and speakers but the wires are broken so its not working right now. the last thing I know of is the convertible top switch is burnt out, so right now the top is down, the top it self is in decent shape, but the switch has been a problem since I got the car ten years ago. I have gone through five or six of them since getting the car. the motor for the top works fine, switch is the only problem and maybe a fuse to it. Im not a gear head girl and my husband is not a car guy, I just love this car, its my third one and probably last one but with some tender care and clean up along with basic stuff you can do yourself this thing is a gem.
