This is a project because the past owner changed the original fuel injection tbi motor and replaced it with a earlier carbureted more powerful 454 with a mechanical fuel pump.The elec fuel pumps that are in the gas tank for the old fuel injection set are still there and the mechanical fuel pump is having a hard time pulling the gas out of the tank.They need to be removed from the tank.It runs and drives but does not have fuel pressure to run right.Motor runs very good.No smoke or fluid leaks of any kind.Transmission shifts as it should (turbo 400)I bought the truck because i was moving to Arizona and didn't care that it would not pass a California smog. The body of this truck is very straight & solid.Never been crashed or rust.Original white paint that is peeling and falling of the body.The rear fenders have never been hit & are in great shape.Has a fiberglass cowl induction hood.New tires with Acola wheels. The interior is in great shape.looks almost new for it's age.Has a billet aluminum dash.All the window motors work but a couple are slow.I drove it home when i bought it not long ago.Steering felt very good.Nice driving truck but needs the fuel problem addressed and has a low brake pedal but the truck stop(feels like air in the lines)I recommend it to be towed for that reason.This is alot of truck for little money and work that still needs to be done to it.This is a as is deal.I have up 4 sale local so i may end sale early at anytime.858-386-8515On Feb-13-16 at 18:44:46 PST, seller added the following information: I added 3 more photos and a few more key points i forgot to mention it has most of the TBI and smog EQUIPMENT still on or with the sale.If you look at the new pic you will see CARB approved headers,smog pump with air injection all there and hooked up.The A/C setup is in the truck with all the brackets & hoses.The OEM air cleaner is in the truck also.As far as i can tell all the wiring and relays for the fuel pumps and the TBI is there and uncut.I dont know but if a TBI would fit on that manifold then it would be all done.
