Up for auction with no reserve is a very rare 1978 Triumph Spitfire Roadster. This topless British classic is a nice rust free survivor that you can enjoy from day one. She comes equipped with her original 1500cc inline four cylinder motor and a 4-speed manual transmission with rack & pinion steering. A new downdraft Weber 2BL carburetor with intake manifold was recently installed and this Spitfire runs and sounds great. Her exterior paint is Damson Plum Burgundy with a Dove Gray cockpit. The paint is respectable but has some rough spots including some scratches, chips and overall imperfections. Her interior is extremely clean with only the slightest wear throughout. Her black convertible soft top is like new as well her matching zip up racing tonneau cover too. This Triumph comes with a rare factory color coded hardtop with push out rear windows also. She is rolling on a set of vintage turbine twist steel wheels with two prong spinners and a fresh set of matching tread all around. Correct Smiths gagues with real wood trim plus her rear deck lid comes complete with a factory chrome luggage rack that looks fantastic. Under her bonnet everything is clean and tidy and her trunk comes with her original factory spare even.
