Vehicle Detail
2009 Subaru XT Limited in more than excellent condition. New transmission installed by Subaru at 120k. New engine installed by Subaru less than a month ago. New brakes, tires only one year old with warranty still remaining. Complete service records, clean carfax, no accidents, non smoking, adult owned. This car has been expertly maintained throughout its life. With only 40k miles on powertrain this can easily be a 300k mile Subaru. No rust, corrosion, or any other issues. Car has a couple dings on passenger side and a few touch up spots neither of which would show up on pictures. They are all very small. All maintenance up to date, needs nothing. KBB values this Subaru @ $8,700 ( with original engine and trans, this car has both new!) This is a great, reliable car and if your looking for a used Subaru, look no further. Just wanted to give a bit more detail and history of this car for those watching. I'm a Sr. Master Subaru technician and have been with Subaru for 16 yrs. I purchased this car from a customer of mine when the original engine started to develop a noise due to a connecting rod bearing. (which is common for the original turbo engines, years 09 to 11, so use caution if your looking at other used Subaru's. It can easily run $5,000 to have a new short block engine assembly installed at the dealer.) Subaru has since redesigned their new short block engine assemblies for this issue which I installed in this Subaru.( I believe the warranty is 1 year unlimited mileage, but I'll have to check the paperwork.) The cylinder heads have been completely gone through, cleaned, resealed and showed no signs of excessive wear at all. I also installed a new timing belt during reassembly so the next replacement won't need to be done for another 120k. All parts are Subaru OEM, absolutely no aftermarket parts used on this engine. I used synthetic oil as well so I would recommend sticking with synthetic for the added protection in the future. Everything works in this car including the A/C. (new a/c compressor installed by Subaru not too long ago which are in the service records) I believe the original transmission started to have a delayed engagement into drive, so Subaru replaced the complete transmission under warranty around 120k. Any other questions please feel free to ask. I have this car listed locally as well so don't miss out!
