1984 Toyota Supra. 1 Owner since new! 100% original! 5 speed. This was Motor Trend's 1982 Import Car Of The Year back then. The paint quality is amazing for a 33 year old car and still has evidence of the slight "orange peel" quality that these cars had when they first left the factory back in the '80's. This is not a 99 point Trailer Queen. Those cars can be tough to enjoy. There are several stone chips on the front end of the car, black trim around windows need touch up. Passenger mirror is missing a piece of plastic, you can buy new. The rear Supra decal is original and is faded a little. As you can tell from the pictures this car is in amazing shape for the year, no rust at all. This car was always in the garage. In 1999 plastic under fairing replaced, oil pan dented, went over curb. Insurance paid in full but put salvage stamp on the title, A JOKE but that is the way she is being sold. The car was keep in Albuquerque, New Mexico and is all highway miles. She was the star in the Supra club there. The car was shipped back to N.Y. on 10/31/15. Cost $1600,00. The inside is super clean, the seats are in Amazing shape and free from tears. Still has the factory mats. Shifter boot is a little worn. The interior still smells new and everything works just the way it should. The adjustable style seats are extremely comfortable and form fitting pump still works, meant to complement the lateral handling capabilities of the independent suspension designed by Lotus. Mechanically this car is extremely solid. The engine starts smoothly and runs quietly. Maybe a bit too quietly for some, as the car still has a factory exhaust in perfect working order. Tune-up done, New water pump, New starter done, Battery, New master cylinder done, 4 new tires, New fan clutch done and much more, this car has always been maintained. This car drives straight and true, climbing through the RPM's smoothly and steadily. Keep in mind this is not the super-fast turbo model we are used to seeing on "The Fast And The Furious". Power output from the factory is a modest 145hp with 155lb-ft of torque very peppy. Let's just say with a quarter mile time around 17 seconds, you won't be blowing away speed records. But that's not what this car is about. It's a fun back road GT type car, ready for road trips and car shows. Handling is crisp for an old gal, and she rides securely on 4 practically new P225/60/R-14 (with less than 2,000 miles on them), mounted on professionally refinished factory alloy wheels. The clutch works well but pedal is a little low, its the factory clutch and does not slip at all! The transmission shifts cleanly through all the gears. A New clutch installed with labor is $600.00. That's up to new owner! There are no fluid leaks, no nasty surprises on the garage floor. Electrically everything works as it should. She really drives like a charm and is a lot of fun to drive!
